AllCare Powerloop Bands – Resistance Exercise Bands
AllCare Powerloop Bands are continuous-loop resistance bands designed for strengthening, mobility exercises, general fitness and prescribed rehabilitation programs. Available in five resistance levels, they allow you to select a load suited to your exercise and current ability.
Each band measures 100 cm in length and has a stated thickness of 4.5 mm. Different colour-coded widths provide a choice of resistance for a range of exercises.
What Are Powerloop Bands Useful For?
Powerloop Bands provide elastic resistance during movement. They can be used for:
- Muscle strengthening: resistance exercises for the upper and lower body.
- Rehabilitation exercises: graded strengthening within an individually prescribed program.
- Functional training: resistance exercises that support everyday and sporting movement patterns.
- Mobility exercises: selected controlled movements and stretching exercises.
- Home and gym exercise: a portable resistance option for a variety of training environments.
Choose Your Powerloop Resistance
AllCare Powerloop Bands are available in five colour-coded resistance levels. Select a resistance that allows you to complete your intended exercise with controlled technique and an appropriate level of effort.
Red – X-Light
The lightest resistance option in the range.
Black – Light
A light resistance option for controlled exercise.
Purple – Medium
An intermediate resistance option.
Green – Firm
A firmer resistance option for more demanding exercises.
Blue – X-Firm
The firmest resistance option in the range.
Choosing a band: Start with a level that allows smooth, controlled movement. A stronger band is not automatically better. The appropriate resistance depends on the exercise, the distance stretched and your current strength.

How to Use Powerloop Bands Safely
-
Choose an appropriate resistance
Begin with a band that allows you to move smoothly without excessive effort or loss of technique.
-
Check the band before exercising
Inspect for visible damage, cracks or deterioration. Do not use a damaged band.
-
Use a secure setup
Maintain a firm grip or use an appropriate secure anchor when the exercise requires one. Keep the band away from sharp edges.
-
Control the movement
Move through a comfortable range and control the band’s return rather than allowing it to snap back.
-
Progress gradually
Increase repetitions, sets, stretch distance or resistance according to your exercise goals and tolerance. Change one variable at a time where practical.
Choosing Resistance for Rehabilitation
Resistance bands can be useful for graded strengthening because the exercise load can be adjusted by changing the band or how far it stretches. However, the load experienced by a muscle or joint also depends on body position and movement technique.
If you are using Powerloop Bands after an injury or operation, your physiotherapist or exercise professional can help you select suitable exercises, resistance and progression.
Powerloop Bands – Frequently Asked Questions
Which Powerloop Band resistance should I choose?
Choose a resistance that allows you to complete your exercise with controlled movement and suitable effort. Red X-Light is the lightest option, while Blue X-Firm is the firmest. The best choice depends on your exercise and current ability.
Can Powerloop Bands be used for physiotherapy exercises?
Yes. Resistance bands are commonly used for strengthening and graded rehabilitation exercises. Your physiotherapist can recommend appropriate movements and resistance for your condition and recovery stage.
Does resistance increase when the band stretches?
Generally, yes. Elastic resistance increases as the band stretches. The exact force depends on the band model, working length and amount of stretch.
When should I replace my Powerloop Band?
Inspect the band before each session. Replace it if you notice cracks, tears, damage or deterioration that may make it unsafe to use.
