The OPP1188 Wrist/Thumb Support is a highly effective solution for relieving pain and stabilising the thumb. It provides excellent support and can be adjusted as your healing progresses. Designed to keep the CMC and MCP joints in a neutral position, this support helps prevent further injury and promotes healing.
To wear the support, follow these steps:
- Insert the thermoplastic plate into the pocket.
- Pour hot water (around 75°C) into the pocket, ensuring the water temperature does not exceed 100°C.
- Once the thermoplastic plate becomes moldable, shape it to fit your wrist and thumb comfortably.
- Allow the support to become stiff.
- Dry the support with a towel.
- Adjust the Velcro® strap to achieve a snug and comfortable fit.
