Who is Sarah Tobin?
Sarah joined the PhysioWorks team in 2020 after graduating from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours).
As part of a large sporting family, Sarah developed an interest in sports and exercise-related injuries at an early age. Over the years Sarah has played soccer, touch football and netball, as well as participating in athletics and swimming.
Sarah has worked as a sports trainer with multiple high school teams across basketball, volleyball, and rugby union, and regularly works with UQ Rugby. Sarah’s background in sport and exercise-related injuries has led her to focus on the shoulder, knee, and ankle with an emphasis on treating the underlying cause and encouraging client independence. This all assists to decrease the risk of injury recurrence.
Through her final year rotations, Sarah has experience in aged care, neurological, cardiorespiratory, indigenous health, and musculoskeletal physiotherapy which allowed her to meet people from many different walks of life and fostered her passion for helping people achieve their goals.
In her free time, Sarah enjoys playing touch football and squash, watching rugby, and reading a good book.
