Who is James Truscott?
James graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland. James initially worked in a busy musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy clinic in Brisbane from 2011–2013. As a clinical physiotherapist, he assisted athletes and workers alike with their rehabilitation.
Then in 2014, James moved to Whistler, Canada to pursue his interests in sports physiotherapy and snowboarding. During this period, James took the opportunity to work and travel, both domestically and internationally, with Canada’s top skiers and snowboarders. Along the way, James was able to gain valuable experience in managing sporting knee, ankle and shoulder injuries as well as sports-related concussions.
Returning to Brisbane in 2020, James has joined the PhysioWorks tea. He is also pursuing his Masters of Physiotherapy (Musculoskeletal) through the University of Queensland. He has a particular interest in sporting injuries, specifically to the knee, ankle, shoulder and sports-related concussion.
